Who am I ?

My name is Frank DiLodovico.  I have been a board member since December 2002.  I was appointed to fill a vacancy. I have served Garden Lakes for 7 years.  I have served as Treasurer, Vice-President and President.  My term expired May 2009.  I am now retired from the board.
I am the president of Katstar, Inc., the provider of this web site.

Web Site History

The web site began in December 2002. The site was donated to Garden Lakes for the first 18 months by Katstar, Inc., the producer of the site. This was done to help Garden Lakes during a time when funds were scarce. After this period Katstar was contracted to provide the web site. The cost was $1200 per year or $.54 (54 cents) per household per year. The price has never increased as a community service to Garden Lakes.

As a member of the GLCA board and as the president of Katstar, Inc. I have always declared my conflict of interest in an open meeting in accordance with A.R.S. 33-1811
At least 3 times every year some board member would raise this question in an attempt to get at me. How is providing a service cheaper than anyone else for the community good a conflict?

At the December 11, 2008 meeting the board cancelled the contract, finally fulfilling their vendetta against me by removing the only service that the homeowners actually received.
The web site has been around longer than any of them have been on the board and longer than some of them have lived in Garden Lakes.

From here - a new direction
I have served the people of Garden Lakes for many years. I do not want to let them down now so I will continue to host the web site. I will change it as necessary to meet their needs. I will publish the facts. I will express my opinion in the form of editorials. I will give the homeowners a voice in the form of letters to the editor.
We will create an email alert list where users can receive email alerts or news. Create public opinion polls. We will create a help center where homeowners can ask questions and share their experiences with other homeowners.
